Well, I think there's been a lot of knowledge that this has been an issue for 20 years now.

Our industry bodies seem to have ignored it totally.

Because there isn't an Australian residue level that's been set,

they haven't bothered both the industry organisations, the government departments,

none of them seem to have addressed this issue.

I'm outraged that groups like Cattle Council, the Ag Force Council,

Meat and Livestock Australia especially,

because they are supposed to be protecting our markets and developing new markets.

There's countries that we sell meat to that have now set PFAS, MRL levels in meat.

And we know, I know, just from my little bit of experience with our situation here,

that the level in the water here is much, much, much higher,

thousands of megajoules or whatever the measurement is,

higher than the EU level.

So surely our industry bodies need to start to address this.
