Four men have been extradited from France and arrested in connection with a stabbing in Liverpool city centre last month. A 21-year-old from Wavertree, a 20-year-old from Everton, a 21-year-old from Huyton, and a 21-year-old from Dovecot - have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and violent disorder.

Wirral's largest landowner has had their request for an appeal over plans for nearly 800 greenbelt homes thrown out of The High Court. Leverhulme Estates will now have to pay for the government and local authority's costs.

Everton in the Community is giving supporters the final opportunity to spend the night at Goodison Park at its last-ever Goodison Sleepout this autumn. This follows the Club's announcement that the 2024/25 season will be its last at the ground before the move to Bramley-Moore Dock.
