Following dawn raids on Thursday, Merseyside Police have seized a suspected stolen motorbike, a drone, drugs and around £4,500 in cash. Warrants were executed at eight addresses in West Derby, Wavertree, Orrell Park, Aintree, Knowsley and Kensington. 16 arrests were made.
A husband and wife have been jailed after they abused their position as legal power of attorney and stole over £117,000 from his elderly parents. Gary and Diane Mansell have been jailed for six years at Liverpool Crown Court for fraud by abuse of position and money laundering.

Marie McCourt’s daughter Helen was killed in 1988, Ian Simms was charged with her murder which he has always denied.
