00:00 I love living in Ballarat because obviously scenery wise it's just so beautiful, gardens

00:14 everywhere, bright flowers, Lake Wendaree is stunning.

00:18 And why I wanted to work in Ballarat was because there's just so many quality suppliers, so

00:25 many people to collaborate with in the wedding industry and it just makes my life and my

00:31 job so much fun and easier.

00:32 I think the sense of community and collaboration is a huge part of Gathered Events.

00:38 It's so important because it just shows that we're all supporting each other, we're bouncing

00:45 ideas off each other, we're all in the same boat essentially, all small business owners

00:49 and things like that, that it, like you said, it's a sense of community, brings everyone

00:55 together and it just makes it so much fun.

01:00 My hopes and goals for the city is to definitely continue developing the event industry and

01:05 making it become a leader in Victoria because there is, like I said, so many amazing quality

01:10 suppliers, food and wine producers and venues in Ballarat and hopefully we can continue

01:16 to collaborate and just lift everyone up.
