00:04 There are four countries, Belgium, Ireland, Spain and Malta, who are pushing for this

00:10 council conclusions to call for a ceasefire.

00:15 Something in line with maybe what the US has suggested, but that looks unlikely to pass

00:19 because there are certain countries that are dead set opposed to any language that could

00:24 even come close to a ceasefire, notably Germany and Austria.

00:28 So this is going to be a big debate today.

00:30 The Irish leader, Leo Varadkar, came in here just a little while ago calling again for

00:37 a ceasefire to be called for.

00:38 Those four countries also want settlers who have been accused of violence in the West

00:42 Bank to be barred entry to the EU.

00:44 He said he is going to push extremely hard for them to call for a ceasefire at the summit.
