00:06 American DJ and songwriter Diplo rose to fame in the mid-2000s, most notably with his breakout
00:12 hit "Paper Planes," which peaked at number four on the Hot Billboard 100.
00:17 In October of 2020, influencer Shelly Auguste shared that Diplo groomed her, recorded their
00:23 intimate moments, and then shared the videos without her consent.
00:27 The initial result was a lengthy legal battle that ended with dual restraining orders and
00:31 Diplo was not convicted of any crime.
00:34 Now, Shelly Auguste is coming forward accusing Diplo again and suing him for sexual battery,
00:40 gender violence, among other things.
00:42 Diplo is countersuing for stalking, trespassing, and distributing private materials.
00:48 Auguste responded to a post Vulture made about the resurfaced allegations online, saying,
00:53 "I did not 'just' file a police report.
00:56 It was thoroughly investigated, verified, and submitted to prosecutors.
01:00 I was also granted a temporary restraining order against him."
01:03 When Pitchfork reached out to Diplo's attorney for comment, he said, "Now Mrs. Auguste is

01:10 But Wes will defend himself, and just as he has done every time Mrs. Auguste has defamed,
