00:38Following intense backlash, she stepped away from the spotlight,
00:41later resurfacing in a leaked interview with banks where she expressed regret over the incident.
00:46Since then, Welch has slowly re-entered the digital scene, relaunching her podcast Talk Tua,
00:51appearing in TikToks, and even landing a brief cameo on Hulu's Chad Powers.
00:56But her latest appearance at VidCon 2025 is once again raising eyebrows.

01:11Although attendees did not seem excited, as one Instagram user wrote,
01:15couldn't get anyone else who didn't scam millions out of their savings.
01:19And another stated,
01:20The taping was held Thursday in Spotify's packed podcast theater,
01:26with fans chanting Hawk Tua as the host took the stage.
01:30And according to Mashable, Cummings ended up driving the show while Welch took a back seat
01:34and slipped into more of a guest role.
01:36But as Cummings pressed Welch on her viral rise,
01:39the crowd grew louder, prompting the comedian to repeatedly tell The Room to shut the F up.
01:44That, along with her raunchy jokes, reportedly killed the vibe, and people began leaving their seats.
01:50But the real tipping point came when Cummings, while ranting about her experience in Hollywood,
01:55used slurs against the little people.
01:57The offensive remarks sparked more walkouts and backlash online.
