00:19 So what's going on here, because we last heard that Meghan is working to rebuild her

00:23 image and increase her popularity, but nothing seems to be working for her at all.

00:29 The transition from British royals to American media icons has been far from smooth, and

00:35 it's been a challenging year for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, especially regarding

00:41 their careers.

00:48 While they faced criticism when announcing their step down as working royals in 2020,

00:59 this period held hope and excitement.

01:06 However more than three years later, they have had very few regrets about their decision,

01:12 but their transition hasn't been as seamless as they expected.

01:25 In early 2023, a Newsweek poll revealed that Harry and Meghan's popularity had plummeted.

01:49 This shift in public sentiment had immediate financial repercussions, leading to the cancellation

02:09 And Meghan and Harry, with the assistance of Meghan's new agents, WME Management, launched

02:15 a big effort to rebrand themselves and reshape their public image.

02:29 Throughout these events and instances, they engaged the media, interacted with the public,

02:35 and allowed people to photograph them.

02:38 However, it appears that these instances, especially for Meghan, did not yield the desired

02:55 title of Duchess of Sussex, has reached a new low in public approval.

03:29 Harry's approval rating, on the other hand, stayed pretty steady at a net +24 rating,
