Conditions will improve across the Lesser Antilles in the wake of Tammy as the storm moves over the open waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
Transcript
00:00 Well, Tammy continue to bring impacts to the northeastern Caribbean, especially around Barbuda and Antigua,
00:07 continuing to impact the U.S. and British Virgin Islands through this weekend.
00:11 You notice the large area for most of the islands at some risk, but that moderate risk to lives and property
00:16 will be something that we continue to watch because of the flash flooding and the mudslides, the gusty winds,
00:22 the dangerous rip currents through this weekend from Tammy.
00:26 We watch Tammy continue to move farther north as we head throughout the weekend, still maintaining the hurricane strength.
00:32 I do think Tammy will lose wind intensity throughout later next week as it does move east of Bermuda,
00:37 but we're going to still be tracking Tammy possibly up until next weekend.
00:42 Anything else to watch in the tropics?
00:44 Well, there is another area here into the Caribbean that does have a low chance for tropical development
00:49 as we head into the end of our weekend and the start of next week.
00:53 When we look at the storm names after Tammy, the next name on the list is Vince.
