00:00 At about 10.55pm last Wednesday evening, police were notified of an incident which occurred

00:05 in Trade Circuit in Warhope where a number of shots were fired.

00:09 Police attended that location and discovered some damage to a building and a vehicle parked

00:13 outside the building.

00:15 Three people were inside the premises at the time and fortunately no one was injured.

00:19 A short time later, police were notified of a second incident where shots were fired at

00:24 a premises in High Street in Warhope.

00:27 Two people were present at the time and again fortunately no one was injured.

00:32 Crime scenes were established at both locations and Strike Force Shelshire was commenced to

00:37 investigate the incidents.

00:39 Our investigators have established a link between the incidents and are appealing for

00:43 information from members of the public who may be able to assist.

00:46 We're releasing today some footage, some CCTV footage which was obtained from Trade Circuit

00:53 in Warhope.

00:54 It shows a light coloured sedan and a male in Trade Circuit at the time of the incident.

01:02 And we believe that that male, after he'd fired the shot, stepped into the vehicle.

01:08 At the time there was probably two and possibly a third person in the vehicle with him.

01:14 We're appealing to the public that may have been in the area, may have dash cam footage,

01:18 may have information around these shootings to contact either the detectives at Port Macquarie,

01:24 the police at Warhope or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

01:31 Any acts of violence, public place violence, whether it's in a small community such as

01:36 Warhope or a larger community is very concerning and we'll investigate it with all the resources

01:41 we have.

01:42 The people at both locations are known to each other so we're working on that and have

01:48 established a link between those locations.
