00:00 2023, a great year, but another great year for the Aubrey Dungaree Cancer Treatment Centre.
00:13 It's because we raised these invaluable funds for our community hospital.
00:21 People might think what these fantastic funds are raised for, but it can't come in all sorts
00:27 of shapes and sizes. The Welfare Centre is just a fabulous resource for those people
00:34 who travel out of town to research, to bring in the best known information and research
00:40 from around the world. Staff education and training is so important, so important to
00:45 get this so right so we have better outcomes for our staff and for our community. And equipment,
00:55 yes hospitals should cover that, but it doesn't always. And so we work hard as a community,
01:03 as a trust to get this right on balance and right on projection.
01:08 I was fortunate enough at being on a trial, not sure if I was out of the placebo or the
01:23 real thing. Even if you're the placebo, you think you're doing good and great, but it's
01:31 really important because we the trust fund that information and that work and my first
01:38 hand experience is nothing but world best. So lift a hand, swipe a card and really just
01:54 give what you can. Every small dollar gives us so much joy to get over that target and
02:03 to reach our goals in 2023. So thank you in advance. So unfortunately I probably won't
02:13 be here for the walk, handing out water bottles, saying a big high five to all those hard working
02:23 staff with the chemo chicks who walk for us, for all those people who give and donate.
02:35 I applaud you, I thank you and you're just the best thing for our community fundraiser
02:46 team efforts. Thank you and God bless you all.
