Bradford Cathedral Organ restoration

A local organ builder firm from Harrogate are working at Bradford Cathedral cleaning and rebuilding parts of the organ.  Peter Wood and Son Organ Builders Ltd of Harrogate have begun dismantling the pipes at Bradford Cathedral.

00:18 at Brackford Cathedral cleaning the great organ and also here we're involved with redesigning

00:23 the swell organ to the specification of the hill of the 1904. At the moment we're just

00:28 passing pipes up, putting them in place and all being well we'll have all this done in

00:32 a couple of days. This is a tromba, an 8 foot pipe and it's a reed pipe. This is one of

00:46 the loudest stops on the great organ. Very impressive and when it's tuned up we'll make

00:51 a big impression.
