Tan Kin Lian met the media right after receiving his Certificate of Eligibility for Presidential Election 2023, and spoke about his desire to "make life better for the younger people".

00:41 should have a future which is a bright future, not a future where they have to struggle.

00:49 So, I want to tell them it's very important that you vote for a president who can do something

00:56 about making life better. For the younger people, I hope that they will feel confident of the future.
