Over 8,000 Austronesian athletes from Taiwan and New Zealand took part in this year’s National Indigenous Games in Taiwan. The events spanned Olympic sports along with traditional hunting, archery, tug of war, as well as music and dance competitions.

The Games brought together Indigenous communities in celebration of their cultures while also enjoying a bit of friendly competition.
