'Will be fair, equitable process…' says K Annamalai on delimitation process of Lok Sabha constituency seats after 2026

BJP Tamil Nadu President K Annamalai on May 29 while addressing the media persons in Chennai spoke about the delimitation for Lok Sabha seats after 2026.
Calling ‘delimitation’ a democratic process, K Annamalai assured that it will be a fair and equitable process that will take everyone’s concerns into mind.
“The PM yesterday made said that the new Parliament building has been built to accommodate the new MPs that are going to come. In the democratic process of delimitation, Tamil Nadu will get represented. We want an increase in the number of MPs, but only population should not be the basis of that. BJP also understands this. It will be a fair and equitable process that will take everyone’s concerns into mind,” said K Annamalai.
