The Delimitation Commission announced on Friday that delimitation will take place in conjunction with the 2011 census. However, it stated that the population is the most important factor and that other factors such as geography and topography must be taken into account.
Addressing the media, Sushil Chandra, Chief Election Commissioner of India, said 24 PoK seats will remain vacant and will be not be included in this delimitation.
