Meet the three-year-old surfer who is riding waves better than his mum.

Krew Kent, three, has been surfing assisted since he was just one - with the assistance of his mum and dad, Britnee, 26, and Connor, 29, an social media influencer.

But six months ago, in December 2022, the three-year-old took the plunge and started standing on the board and catching waves on his own.

Britnee says her tot is "a natural" and their family head to the beach every day for Krew to hone his skills.

Britnee, a social media influencer, from Oahu, Hawaii, US, said: "We have been surfing with Krew since he was a year old.

"Recently, he wanted to do it on his own.

"Six weeks ago, he started surfing on his own.

"He is naturally gifted, better than me already - he has taken off with it.

"It is such a fun activity. We all love going down to the beach and surfing.

"We have a younger son, Banks, two, and we are getting him started on the board with us too."

Britnee and Connor have been surfing since they moved to Hawaii from Utah, US, seven years ago.

The mum-of-two admits Connor is a "much better surfer" than her but their passion for the sport has rubbed off on their two children - who love being on the water.

Britnee said: "We spend almost every day down at the beach.

"I think Krew loves the independence of being out on the water on his own.

"He seriously eats, breathes and sleeps surfing.

"Instead of waking up and asking for cartoons like most kids, he will wake up and ask to watch videos of people surfing."

Krew got his first board aged two and would spend most of his time crashing into the water instead of staying on the board.

Britnee said: "He has always loved the waves, as a baby I would swim with him as his dad surfs.

"He really loves it, at first he was all about the crash and wanted to fall off but now he is going strength to strength.

"Krew's longest wave is 100 metres long.

"He is so happy when he is in the water, I would definitely say it is our family's favourite hobby to do together."
