One man has been charged with car theft, while another man was arrested after they were involved in a police car chase. Gwent Police say the pair were originally being pursued by the police in a different car before escaping on foot and then taking the vacant police car and driving away in that.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of theft after a herd of cows valued at around £20,000 was stolen from a farm in Anglesey. 14 cows were taken from a farm near Llanerch-y-medd in December and were found on 12th April in a farm in Stoke-on-Trent, 130 miles away from their home.

A conservation charity fears an Osprey who has come to Wales every year to breed may never return. Mrs G first came to Wales in 2004 to breed, but for the first time she has not returned to Glaslyn Ospreys in Porthmadog. The charity say they upset, but knew the day might eventually come.
