GJ, 29, and Jessica, 30, are a polyamorous couple from Houston, Texas. The pair have been together for nine years and married for six. Jessica told GJ that she was bisexual on their first date, they started opening up their relationship casually to other women, but eventually decided that they were looking for a consistent relationship with a third party. Since opening up their relationship the outside world has been critical of their choice, online trolls have commented "go to hell!" and "hell has a place for you". Their loved ones have voiced their concerns too, Jessica's mother Sonya told Truly: "I felt like she was going nuts, I don't freaking get it." While GJ's mom Sonya said: "I felt like marriage is supposed to be between a man and a wife, just those two, anything else is just too much."
