In this episode of Love Don’t Judge, we meet three couples who faced life-altering choices, public backlash and deep personal sacrifice - all in the name of love. Whether it's walking away from a job or marrying behind bars, these stories show how love can challenge everything we think we know about relationships, identity and acceptance.

00:00I'm Cece. This is my husband Casey. We met as police officers. And now we're adult
00:05stars. We swapped our cop jobs to make spicy content together. We've had some
00:10pretty crazy hate comments. How can you be with a ? These women these days look
00:15horrible. I can only imagine how many men have run through them. We had some
00:18friends who questioned our like judgment. When Cece got with Casey I was not
00:23happy at all. I was scared that he was trying to jump in and kind of take it
00:29advantage. I found two uniformed shirts I guess that we still had. They were like
00:35buried in the bin at the bottom. It's a little dusty. My name is Cece. My name is
00:40Casey. I was working at the police department and I got told that a rookie
00:45was starting. Initially I didn't like him. He just came off very like tool baggy to
00:50me. I feel like he was fooling himself. When I realized that I was attracted to
00:55him was when we were practicing defensive tactics one time when we were on duty.
00:59He was on top of me and pulled me close to him while we were doing this one
01:04maneuver. And it just got really hot really fast. I was like oh god this man
01:08is so freaking hot and I don't know what to do because I was trying to stay
01:12professional. Yeah one thing led to another.
01:16Today my friend Barbara is coming over to reveal what she thinks about us and I'm a
01:24little bit nervous. She's very honest. You're nervous. I'm nervous. My name is
01:30Barbara and I have known Cece for 12 years.
01:33What did you think when I left cop work to go do spicy content? I was so terrified. You
01:49were a single parent and you are giving up stability, insurance. I was you know worried
01:55about everything. Money, kids, everything. My career that I worked hard for. I was a
02:02police officer for around like four years before I decided to leave to make adult
02:06content. My picture was used as clickbait on somebody's YouTube video. That was
02:11about another cop who got fired for a ****. I saw how much traction there was and how
02:16much money she was making. At the time I was a little bit miserable at my job but the
02:20environment was a little hostile. My kids wanted me around more so I ended up
02:25leaving and making adult content within the first month it was, couple weeks. I
02:29made a hundred K. It's crazy. A lot of people believed that I was making content
02:34while I was a cop which wasn't true. I did not launch that page until a day after I
02:40left police work. So what did you really think when I first got with Casey? You
02:46really want to know? I don't want to know. Honestly you were doing really well with
02:53your spicy content and I was scared that he was trying to jump in and kind of take
03:00advantage of it. Like a sugar mama situation? Yeah. I'm not gonna lie I was so scared of
03:05you coming in not only her life but the kids lives. I think I had the same concern too.
03:09I know we had some chats on the low. A single mom having a man coming in out of your life
03:15you don't realize how, especially when you're in it, how much it can affect your
03:18children. There obviously was a lot of inconsistencies back and forth with
03:22things, job changes, all the works, and then introducing other kids into the mix.
03:28They weren't super keen on him initially but now that it's been consistent for a
03:31while, you know, he stepped up, everything's changed, we went through a
03:34whole entire like metamorphosis process that we had to go through. It is
03:39beautiful. I love how the kids have adapted so well and how happy they are.
03:44Yeah. You know, they've just, they've blossomed. So when did you start changing
03:49your mind about Casey and I being together? When he changed jobs. I left my job about
03:55a year ago. It was right after we'd had our baby. It just felt right to stay home and
04:01we ultimately made the decision for me to help her with the content creation and
04:05we've been doing that ever since. My whole personality has changed. Once you're a cop,
04:09like, that's your mindset 24-7. You live it, sleep it, everything. And since
04:15leaving that, it's like the veil has been removed and there's this paradise, like,
04:21the life, life's not so bad. You're working like six out of seven days a week,
04:26barely sleeping. Like, it kind of makes a person get really nasty and just not think
04:32great. And you become this, like, character. Yeah, it's like a character in a movie and
04:37you're just in this role constantly. Like, you're very cloudy minded. You don't think
04:42great in a way.
04:42I must explain why some cops are like,
04:47you f*** kids. Yeah. No, seriously, it makes you messed up.
04:52We were living paycheck to paycheck. We had no time with our kids. We were bringing work
04:57issues home. It was just a no-brainer. I don't think I miss a whole lot about being
05:03a police officer, honestly. Maybe some of the adrenaline rush you get.
05:07I did a lot of the crazy stuff, working with no car aches, high-speed chases, foot chases,
05:12all that I loved. Getting out of it and thinking back on it now, I'm like, that was a stupid situation.
05:18I could've got killed. It's just not worth it. I mean, I might miss, like, us in uniforms.
05:24You know, your butt looks pretty good in the uniforms.
05:28He was being torn between two different things. You know, the police officer and then the home
05:33father figure, a husband and stuff. He was able to concentrate on one thing.
05:38Yeah, he was a little lost for a while.
05:40I think I'm doing a good job now.
05:42Yeah, you can tell that they respect you and respect is huge for kids.
05:45They do seem a lot more genuinely happy.
05:49They are. They're thriving, and they're so well behaved.
05:52Oh my gosh, I gotta go. It was so good seeing you guys.
05:55It was really good seeing you. We gotta get together more, for sure.
05:57Oh, we definitely do. I love you.
05:59I get a lot of hate comments.
06:02He was still technically married, even though they weren't still together.
06:07I got pretty much called a homeworker, even though I didn't work the home.
06:09We faced a lot of judgment about being an interracial couple, about being partners at work,
06:14about merging our kids together.
06:18Because I was doing, you know, spicy content.
06:21Oh, she's a .
06:22They said, potbelly girl.
06:24One said, ugh, both have major self-esteem issues.
06:28These women these days look horrible.
06:29I can only imagine how many men have run through them, which is wild to me,
06:33because the only man I sleep with is you.
06:35Good for you.
06:36Those people are following you still.
06:37Yeah, but they're following me, so it's crazy.
06:39There are some men that will write nasty things, and I will go on their page.
06:43I will find them and usually DM their wives or their girlfriends and be like,
06:48you're too hot to be dealing with a man who talks to women like this or is on a page like this.
06:53I have no mercy.
06:54I've even gone as far as, like, when people are actually threatening me,
06:57I have contacted people's agencies that have come at me and let them know
07:02this is how they're conducting themselves on social media.
07:05I will contact jobs, I will contact wives and girlfriends.
07:10We're, like, so strong right now, we're untouchable.
07:13What do I love most about each other?
07:18Well, I probably can't say what I love most about you because it's inappropriate.
07:22She stalks me.
07:23No, no chance.
07:26You're cute, but not that cute.
07:28Casey has changed my life for the better in so many ways.
07:31He's made me a stronger person.
07:34I think he's made me more lovey.
07:37I was very ice cold, shut off to the world.
07:39She's an amazing mother, amazing wife.
07:42She makes sure that everyone is taken care of, and I'm so grateful for her.
07:50For all of the people who judge us, like, it doesn't really matter.
07:53At the end of the day, I don't really know who you are.
07:55Even if I did, I don't think I'd really care too much.
07:58I'm glad that we are that much of an entertainment team,
08:00that you're spending your time wondering what we're doing.
08:02Good match. Welcome.
08:08I am the officer that is married to someone in prison.
08:13I got to be the only officer in the world who I propose to in jail.
08:17Some of the officers, they don't know which side of the law I am on.
08:20I was 30 years young when I got my pension.
08:23I get paid a lifetime, so it would definitely support me and my husband when he gets out of prison.
08:30My friends would give bad advice and tell me, don't be with somebody in prison.
08:34I started sharing my story online because the world needed to know.
08:37The judgment that I face is you're stupid for marrying an inmate.
08:41You're an inmate lover.
08:42They was very crazy.
08:45I visit Jonathan every weekend.
08:50It takes me about 12 hours total, six hours going, six hours coming.
08:55They banned me.
08:56They're tired of me coming.
08:58Some of them don't like I'm an officer.
08:59And then once my suspension is up, I go right back.
09:03My name is Tamika and I am the prison officer that is married to an inmate.
09:08I met Jonathan when we were kids.
09:10We grew up in the same neighborhood.
09:12He was just a little boy who always had a crush on me.
09:15We went our separate ways.
09:16Jonathan ended up going to prison.
09:18Jonathan was sentenced to 25 years to life,
09:21but he's eligible for parole and he has about 11 left.
09:24Me and Jonathan reconnected because he wrote a love letter
09:28and he sent it to a mutual friend.
09:30It was 14 years since I last seen or spoke to Jonathan.
09:34It was like, oh my God.
09:37After all these years, he still remembered me.
09:40He still loved me.
09:41At that moment, I was still at work,
09:43so I was afraid to respond back to him.
09:46I contacted Jonathan.
09:48He just said, I'm happy after all these years,
09:50you've finally given me another chance.
09:52And we made it official to be with each other.
09:55The visit is eight hours and it's worth it.
09:57I can't wait to kiss my husband.
09:59I can't wait to just have that love and warmth in my presence.
10:03The first meeting with him was insane
10:06because the same inmates that I had in my custody and I was mean to
10:10were the same inmates I seen that's locked up with my husband.
10:13When I visit Jonathan in prison, some of the officers' reaction,
10:17they're like a little bit confused because they don't know
10:20which side of the law I am on.
10:22They be like, oh, she's married to an inmate,
10:25but she's also one of us.
10:27Because if they do something wrong, they think I'm going to report them.
10:30And the inmates react to, oh, it's like gossip and news for them, like tease.
10:35Hey guys, as you guys already know,
10:38I am the officer that is married to someone in prison.
10:42Hey guys, as you guys already know,
10:45I am the officer that is married to someone in prison.
10:50I started sharing my story online because I felt like I had a very unique story.
10:54And I felt like the world needed to know it's okay to love who you want to love.
10:58So this video here is about staying with your man in prison.
11:02Stay with him.
11:03Do not leave your man in jail for somebody that's out here.
11:07I had over 61,000 views, over 517 comments.
11:12When my first video went viral, I just was happy to impact other people
11:17who may be going through the same thing.
11:19The judgment that I faced when I started my relationship is he's going to take your pension.
11:24He's going to get everything that you got.
11:26What side of the law are you on?
11:27You a bad officer.
11:29The Department of Corrections should have never hired you.
11:32You stupid for marrying an inmate.
11:34You're an inmate lover.
11:35They was just very crazy.
11:39I'm definitely isolated.
11:41I feel like I can't have any friends because my friends would judge me.
11:46And they would also give bad advice and tell me,
11:49don't be with somebody in prison.
11:50Yes, I respond sometimes.
11:52Very seldom though.
11:54I would just put an emoji like a bird in the brain and call them a bird brain.
11:58Some of the comments I received online was,
12:01I know your officers hate your .
12:03That's dope though.
12:04You married your soulmate.
12:05That's right.
12:06Fight for your husband.
12:08Hearing comments from people who say I helped them with my story makes me feel like I made the right
12:13choice as being an officer and married to someone in prison.
12:16Like I did what I was supposed to do.
12:18Can you tell us how Jonathan proposed?
12:22I want to show y'all the picture because I got the picture.
12:25This is Jonathan actually proposing to me in jail.
12:30Like I got to be the only officer in the world who I proposed to in jail.
12:34This is us getting married.
12:36Jonathan write me at least like 10 times in a day.
12:40So this letter said, hey my crush, you got me feeling like a kid all over again.
12:45And sent me some kisses.
12:47When I was an officer, I definitely had a different view on prison relationships.
12:52I honestly thought all girls are stupid for coming to a jail, crying over a man that can't even take
12:59them to a restaurant to eat. I thought their self-esteem was low, but obviously that's not the case.
13:06When I visit Jonathan, we don't really get any privacy because again, I'm an officer and I'm coming
13:13to a facility. Always surveillance cameras and officers sitting us right in front of their desks.
13:18It's not tough because we make it work. We're still gonna hug each other. He probably still
13:22gonna give me some hickeys. I started the Department of Corrections in 2015. That job was very tough.
13:30You are around some of the worst criminals in the city of New York all day. They call you names at
13:36times. Your coworkers are just as foul as the inmates. So you're in an environment where you don't know
13:43who to trust. I decided to leave because I seen a lot of injustice go on. This is what correction
13:50officers wear on duty to work. We use a snap tie so that we don't get choked. This is our badge that we
13:56must wear. These are the signs that I made. That's me and my husband in prison. This is our book that we
14:03wrote called Karma and Love. I use these signs to bring awareness to my husband's case, to injustice,
14:08to the system, and just to my experience as being an officer and married to someone in prison.
14:14I absolutely do not miss working in corrections because I got everything that there is to have.
14:20I got a pension and I'm able to love my husband. I worked at the Department of Corrections five and
14:26a half years before I got my pension. I was 30 years young. I get paid a lifetime so it would definitely
14:33support me and my husband when he gets out of prison. Oh, that's him. That's him. He called me.
14:41A prepaid collect call from an incarcerated individual.
14:47Hello. Hey, what's going on? I love you. What's up, baby? Hey, how you doing? You gotta hang in there.
14:58You gotta continue to be strong. You gotta keep your head up and know, like, there's nothing
15:03you can't overcome that we can't overcome together. What's something you really want to do when you
15:07come home together as husband and wife? A vacation? I just want to take a bad tub. I just want to be
15:13taking a bad tub and just getting more of this. Just putting stuff more for me. Oh, you want to get in the tub?
15:19Yeah, I want some good fried chicken. I can't wait for some good fried chicken. Babe, it's coming. It's coming.
15:25So, Jonathan, how did you feel when you first met Tamika? I felt like a kid in Candyland. A kid waking
15:31up for Christmas, she let me see life in a different perspective. That it's okay to be loved. Don't give up.
15:38Thank you for being, like, so great to me, husband. Thank you for, like, believing in me to have your back.
15:45I love you. I love you, too. I love you. I love you. I love you.
15:48How has Jonathan changed your life for the better?
15:53Jonathan have changed my life for the better because he made me a wife and I don't take that
15:59for granted. He's my greatest blessing. To the people who judge me, look in the mirror. Go judge yourself.
16:11I had to resign from my job because we became spicy content creators. We had to leave our town after
16:16a secret came out. It got a lot of attention because I don't know if there's ever a teacher
16:21that has been found out in this way. After the media ran our stories, subscriptions were really
16:28kind of rolling into the spicy site. Last year, as content creator, I've made about two million
16:34dollars. I get a lot of the negativity. Your actions disgrace this profession. It's dirty money.
16:40You are a disgusting pig and your husband is a . He failed as a man.
16:47This is where I shoot some of my content. I have my branded pillow that I made with my logo.
16:56I have my, like, lingerie closet that has been donated by mostly fans.
17:00I'm Phillip. This is my partner, Brianna, and we're both spicy content creators.
17:05So, we're from the same town. We knew of each other, but had never actually
17:09hang out before. I was out of a relationship and I was scrolling Facebook and he had a cute
17:15profile picture. So, I sent him a message and I kind of went from there. I don't typically make you,
17:22like, breakfast like this. Sometimes I'm still sleeping before you leave. It's usually me making
17:27myself breakfast. I started making spicy content mainly because we had a lot of bills. So, at the
17:35time, he was laid off from his job. I wasn't making very much as a teacher. I had a lot of student loans.
17:40We had credit card debt. So, we kind of just started it to see if it would help. It was not meant to be
17:46long-term. I think it was just a quick fix or, like, something we could do to supplement our income
17:51at the time. So, the school district sat me down at the end of the school day and they basically
17:56said that they had gotten reports from a neighboring school district that I was on a spicy content page.
18:03They basically said that they were going to put me on leave and just investigate until they could
18:07figure out what to do. At the time, I felt scared. I was nervous and anxious. I called you right away.
18:14It's the type of business where you can't be hidden and secret but make it big at the same time.
18:20Three or four days after I was put on leave, I started getting calls from reporters asking
18:26if the story was true, what was happening. After the media kind of ran our stories, subscriptions
18:33were really kind of rolling into the spicy site. I think I ended up resigning about seven days later
18:40from the job and I didn't necessarily need to work at the school district anymore because the site was
18:48supporting us. I would say the worst reaction that I had to deal with or that we've had to deal with
18:54has probably been more so from friends and family. I feel like sometimes the news of this or the fact
19:02can be so shocking that it makes people forget who we actually are.
19:06I don't understand why we can't be considered normal just because of our job.
19:13I think it's easier for people to continue hating us and hateful comments and just the
19:19act like we're like heathens. If they imagine that we just live these these disgusting simple lives.
19:26I definitely do feel there's a double standard for men versus women working in this kind of industry
19:32just based off of the reactions and how people treat myself versus my wife.
19:37Yeah I get a lot of the negativity versus him for sure. It got a lot of attention because I don't
19:44know if there's ever a teacher that has been found out in this way. I got a really really terrible
19:50message the other day um it said you are a disgusting pig and your husband is he failed as a
19:58man. He probably takes it as well. Is that why he likes to see you get trains ran on you? He should
20:03self-delete. What a failure as a man. He only gets you and who you approve and you get to have nine guys.
20:10You should put him out of his misery. That one cut so deep let me tell you.
20:12Who takes the time to write something that nasty? I just don't understand.
20:18They feel very passionate. She knows deep down she sold her soul. Apparently I sold my soul.
20:24How much did you get? She will suffer for these decisions for the rest of her life but at least
20:28she has chickens now. But it's funny because like if if it is that easy then sell your soul and make
20:37that money. Yeah. I bet you can't. It's dirty money. I'd rather be poor. Your actions disgrace the
20:42profession. There is now a void in your old classroom and the children will academically
20:46suffer. Does this make you feel proud? Honestly like other people's opinions don't bother me
20:51because we live our lives the way that we want to. We're not hurting anybody. We're just living our
20:57lives together and I mean if that offends someone then they need to reevaluate some priorities.
21:03Megan is going to come over in just a little bit. Yeah. Yeah so I'm going to get us some drinks
21:11and some food. Megan is one of my best friends and she was a teacher with me. Secretly we were both
21:19spicy content creators. After I got put on leave she was discovered as well. She appeared in one of my
21:26pictures and a video so she was put on leave. She did not resign. She said I don't believe I'm doing
21:32anything wrong. She was a content creator but the school was also paying her as well. Just at home they
21:38didn't let her come to the classrooms. So you got caught first right so what was that like? The
21:44first week was pretty scary. I think I called you like every single day and I was like panicking just
21:51sitting at home and then seeing like all the media. I was very overwhelmed with the amount of sport and
21:58the amount of hate that I got but I wasn't as nervous because I do feel like you've had my back the whole
22:03time. Yeah I think we like call each other and we can vent and we can you know cry on the phone and
22:12I think it's just good to have someone that can relate. Bree and I were talking about earlier today
22:17like the day after the media blew up I pulled into work that morning and like got a standing
22:22ovation from the guys at work. Which is so crazy. Like we never. Did anybody even reach out to you
22:30from our job? No one has spoken to us. Yikes. Not one person reached out. Yeah um I think that I've
22:39like definitely come to terms just deciding not to go back into education. I just don't feel like
22:47that's my place anymore after all of this. I immediately knew no one was going to hire me but
22:54um just I feel more at peace with the decision of I'm okay right now just making plans for the
23:03future. As a teacher I was making around $42,000 per year and in the last year as a spicy content
23:10creator I've made about two million dollars. We just bought this house and farm and it feels like
23:18a whole new life. It really truly does. So your father's day present was a little late right? Yeah.
23:24It is here and it is ready. They just finished it yesterday. I do think that this has been a blessing
23:29in disguise. It's really changed the course of our lives. We were just renting before like struggling to
23:35get by you know paycheck to paycheck. Oh wow holy cow oh my gosh this looks amazing. In my shop uh down
23:46here I guess I do whatever you know build things work on stuff. Thank you baby. Bree has changed my
23:54life for the better. She's brought a lot of love and care and her child into my life so I'm very thankful
24:01for that. You've definitely changed my life with the better. A lot of love and you know everything
24:08that you do for us. People that judge us their opinions don't affect us. It's not going to change
24:15who we are. Our marriage has never been better. If they want to keep hating they can it just you know
24:20will make us more successful I guess. So keep it up.
24:31you
