Malfatti Ingredients:

Blanching the Spinach
2 bunches Spinach Leaves
1/2 cup Water

For the Base
3-4 Tomatoes (chopped)
6-8 Garlic Cloves (peeled)
1 tbsp Sugar
1 pinch Dried Thyme
1 pinch Oregano

Making the Sauce
1 tbsp Oil
1 Onion (sliced)
Salt to taste

Making the Dough Balls
250 gms Cottage Cheese
1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese
Salt
Black Pepper
Water (for boiling)

For Garnish
Parmesan Cheese
Black Pepper
Basil Leaves
