Petronas has pledged RM2 billion for the National Trust Fund (Kwan).
Petronas has been Kwan's sole contributor.
Up until the Covid-19 pandemic, it was only tapped once for Projek Malaysia Wetland Sanctuary in Ulu Langat.
In 2021, Putrajaya drew RM3.3 billion from Kwan to finance Covid-19 vaccines.
