Naples fire-rescue shatter the window of a car after a woman gets trapped on a flooded street during hurricane Ian.

This is the moment fire crews rescued a Florida resident stuck inside a vehicle submerged by floodwater. The video shared by Naples fire department shows a fireman wading through the surging water and breaking a rear passenger-side window in order to rescue the woman. Naples, on Florida’s southwestern coast, saw several feet of flooding, sweeping away cars and structures and washing out roads. The Naples Police tweeted shortly after 1 p.m. Wednesday that an emergency citywide curfew was in effect immediately until further notice. The storm, was category 4 on landfall, with 150 mph sustained winds. At 8 a.m. on Thursday Ian had weakened to a Tropical Storm with maximum sustained winds of 65 mph as stated by the the National Hurricane Center.
