Aloo bharta or chokha (mashed potatoes) is an Indian dish prepared by boiling potatoes and mixing it with (mustard oil, onion, chill, cilantro, salt, pepper herbs and spices. Which is usually eaten as a dish. There are numerous local Indian varieties of making aloo bharta.
Traditionally, the dish is often eaten with rice and dal. In Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, it is served with litti or baati. In India, and neighbouring countries, aloo bharta is part of popular cuisine.
