Dispute over plans to pump Timor Sea gas to Darwin

Timor-Leste’s president, Jose Ramos-Horta, says his nation will seek Chinese investment if Australia fails to back a gas pipeline to the country's southern shore. The greater sunrise oil and gas fields in the Timor Sea sit 150 kilometres south of Timor-Leste but Australian company woodside petroleum wants to pipe the gas to Darwin for processing.
