सावन मास के पूरे माह भगवान शिव की विभिन्न तरीके से भक्तगढ़ पूजा कर रहे हैं। इसके साथ ही सावन मास में पड़ने वाले सोमवार के साथ मास शिवरात्रि का काफी अधिक महत्व है। भगवान शिव की पूजा को लेकर शास्‍त्रों में कुछ नियम बताए गए हैं, जिनका पालन करना जरूरी माना जाता है।भगवान शिव की पूजा करने के विभिन्न तरीके से है। लेकिन भोलेनाथ को हर एक चीज मंत्रों के साथ अर्पित करने से फल कई गुना अधिक मिलता है। मंत्रों सहित पूजन को षोडशोपचार कहते हैं।

There are some rules mentioned in the scriptures regarding the worship of Lord Shiva, which are considered necessary to be followed. There are different ways of worshiping Lord Shiva. But by offering everything to Bholenath with mantras, the result is manifold. Worship with mantras is called Shodashopachar.
