BJP leader Kirit Somaiya on April 26 has reached Khar Police Station in Mumbai to register an FIR, a day after he alleged that Mumbai Police circulated a fake FIR regarding an assault case against him. However, he claimed that Mumbai Police Commissioner has denied registering his FIR on the directions of the Maharashtra CM.

“Mumbai Police Commissioner has denied registering my FIR on the directions of Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray. It is clear that the FIR registered against me earlier was bogus. The best example of forgery by the Mumbai Commissioner has been exposed today,” he added.
