Desi Cook today presents the nutritious mixture called ‘Panjeri’. It is basically a mixture of dry fruits like almonds, cashew nuts, pistachio, cocount, dry figs with Gond (edible gum) etc.

This Panjiri is prepared in desi style. It is very healthy and nutritious and helps in boosting immunity, increase the metabolism and haemoglobin. It is especially used in winters and rainy seasons to ward off cold. It is also given to women after giving birth as a nutritional supplement. Also, helps in increasing fertility in men. It is very healthy recipe for all age men, women and children.

The Panjiri recipe is very flexible. You can add or subtract any ingredient according to your taste and availability. But, I suggest to prepare with all the ingredients as I shown in this video. It is pure vegeterian recipe.

You can store this Panjiri in clean and dry glass or steel bottle. Avoid plastic bottles. It can be preserved for several weeks at room temperature.
