India registered 2,82,970 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, 18.9 percent higher than yesterday. With fresh cases, the country's overall caseload has now mounted to 3,79,01,241, according to the data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare early on Wednesday. On Tuesday, as many as 2,58,089 new Covid cases were recorded along with 385 fatalities. As many as 441 deaths were reported in the country in the last 24 hours, increasing the total death count to 4,87,202. Watch video.
