India has witnessed new Delta Plus strain cases in six states. There are over 40 such cases in the country. The Delta Plus has now been tagged as a Variant of Concern. The government has given warning to Maharashtra, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh on Delta Plus cases found there and urged them for immediate containment measures.
