Due to heavy rains, 24 districts of Uttar Pradesh are currently in the grip of floods. Many rivers including Ganga, Yamuna are in spate, which has created havoc in the state. The water level of both Ganga and Yamuna rivers has wreaked havoc in the city of Prayagraj. Many areas are completely submerged in rainwater. Thousands of people are trapped in the grip of floods.
