According to Cricbuzz, another key decision has been taken in the meeting. The BCCI seeks more time to explore options to conduct the T20 World Cup in India. But the final decision over the hosting rights of T20 World Cup remain with the ICC. The world body will meet on June 1 for the same. Interestingly, last year T20 World Cup in Australia was cancelled and the rights were given to India. The BCCI SGM further authorised the Office Bearers to seek an extension of time from the ICC to take an appropriate call on the hosting of ICC T20 World Cup 2021."

T20I World Cup 2021 कहाँ होगा? ये बड़ा सवाल था. और मीटिंग के बाद भी इसका जवाब नहीं मिला है. BCCI ने SGM मीटिंग रखी थी. जहाँ पर Sourav Ganguly सभी बोर्ड मेम्बर्स से बात करते हुए ये फैसला लिया कि ICC से वक्त माँगा जाए. इसके बाद ही फैसला लिया जाएगा कि कहाँ पर T20I World Cup 2021 का आयोजन होगा. बीसीसीआई ने साफ़ तौर पर ICC से समय माँगा है. और इसी वजह से T20I World Cup 2021 पर कोई फैसला नहीं लिया गया है. मीटिंग अभी-अभी खत्म हुई है. और आईपीएल को लेकर तो BCCI ने साफ़ कर दिया है. लेकिन, T20I World Cup 2021 को लेकर आईसीसी से समय माँगा है. अब ICC का इस पर क्या रिएक्शन होता है. ये तो बाद की बात है. पर मीटिंग से यही बात निकलकर सामने आई है कि भारत T20I World Cup 2021 की मेजबानी अपने ही पास रखना चाहता है.
