PCB CEO Wasim Khan, on Wednesday, said that the board is planning to organise the Asia Cup either in Sri Lanka or UAE in September-October. On top of that, the board is also planning to host the remaining PSL matches in November. The entire situation, however, is problematic for the BCCI. The Indian board itself is looking to organise the IPL 13 in September-October which causes a direct clash with the Asia Cup. A BCCI official, hence, has asked the PCB to not host the PSL this year and organise the Asia Cup in that window by pushing the franchise league to 2021.

बीसीसीआई और पीसीबी के बीच एक बार फिर से तनातानी शुरू हो गयी है. माहौल गर्म हो चुका है. और 24 घंटे के भीतर ही बीसीसीआई ने पलटवार किया है. पाकिस्तान क्रिकेट बोर्ड यानी पीसीबी ने बुधवार को कहा था कि सितंबर-अक्टूबर की विंडो में टी20 फॉर्मेट में होने वाले एशिया कप 2020 का आयोजन श्रीलंका या फिर दुबई में हो सकता है, लेकिन भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड यानी बीसीसीआइ के अधिकारी ने कहा है कि ये विंडो हमारे अनुकूल नहीं है. दरअसल, पाकिस्तान इस कोशिश में लगा हुआ है कि सितंबर में एशिया कप का आयोजन हो. और किसी न किसी तरह से आईपीएल का आयोजन न हो सके. चूँकि, बीसीसीआई की कोशिश अभी ये है कि किसी तरह सितंबर का विंडो मिल जाए और ऑस्ट्रेलिया में होने वाले विश्वकप को अगले साल के लिए टाल दिया जाए.
