The BCCI has been in a tight spot in penning down a new schedule for IPL 2021 remaining matches. The tournament was suspended after 29 matches with the BCCI, failing to maintain IPL 2021’s bio-bubble and rising number of COVID-19 cases in franchises. On May 29, the BCCI has called for a special general meeting to deliberate on the ICC T20 World Cup and the IPL 2021. With India still reeling under the second wave of COVID-19, hosting the remaining 31 matches could be a big challenge but more than that, it is the packed FTP windows that have left BCCI worried.

IPL 201 को लेकर बड़ा अपडेट आया है. IPL 2021 के बचे हुए मुकाबले BCCI किसी भी हाल में करवाना चाहता है. और बोर्ड पीछे हटने वाला नहीं है. खबर आ रही है कि बीसीसीआई इस बार इंग्लैंड या फिर युएई में भी IPL के बाकी मैच करवा सकता है. इंग्लैंड बोर्ड से इसके लिए बात भी चल रही है कि अगर वो पांच मैचों की टेस्ट सीरिज को घटा दें तो IPL के बाकी मैचों के लिए स्लॉट बनाया जा सकता है. सितंबर का महीना BCCI के पास खाली है. जो आईपीएल कराने के ललिए उपयुक्त हो सकता है. वैसे, 29 मई को SGM मीटिंग होनी है, जिसमें दो प्रमुख विषयों पर विचार होगा- बाकी IPL सीजन का स्‍थान और आगामी टी20 विश्‍व कप भारत में खेला जाएगा या नहीं.
