The BCCI will lock in a three-week window between September 15 and October 15 for the resumption of the currently-suspended IPL in the UAE, when it holds a Special General Meeting (SGM) virtually on Saturday. The agenda of the meeting is “discussing on the upcoming cricket season in the view of pandemic prevailing in India”. BCCI also wants to host the T20 World Cup in India and during the June 1 ICC Board meet, it would ask the global body to wait on the COVID-19 situation here before any call is taken.

SGM मीटिंग कल यानी 29 मई को होगा. इस मीटिंग से पहले हम आपको बताने जा रहे हैं उन तीन मुद्दों के बारे में, जिसपर विचार किया जाएगा. SGM मीटिंग हाईप्रोफाइल मीटिंग होने वाली है. बोर्ड के सभी सदस्य बैठेंगे और अगले तीन-चार महीनों में भारतीय क्रिकेट शेड्यूल की क्या शक्ल होने वाली है? उसपर बात होगी. इस दौरान बीसीसीआई के अध्यक्ष सौरव गांगुली भी मीटिंग में मौजूद रहेंगे. ANI को BCCI सूत्रों ने बताया कि SGM मीटिंग के लिए बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष सौरव गांगुली शुक्रवार रात को मुंबई पहुंचेंगे. सौरव गांगुली जहां प्रत्यक्ष तौर पर BCCI हेडक्वार्टर में मौजूद रहेंगे, वहीं दूसरे सभी सदस्य वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के जरिए मीटिंग से जुड़ेंगे.
