UAE witnessing a steady rise in the number of Covid-19 cases has become a reason of worry for all eight teams participating in the tournament and that's why Dada is visiting Dubai to make sure that all SOPs are being followed by the players and support staff of all eight franchises during the 53-day tournament. Ganguly exclusively told ABP News,"I am going to Dubai on September 8." There will be talks on a wide range of issues with representatives of different franchises, including asking all the teams to strictly enforce SOPs.

आईपीएल 19 सितम्बर से शुरू होने जा रहा है. और तैयारियां जोर-शोर से शुरू हो रही है. आईपीएल के लिए सभी खिलाड़ी, अधिकारी काफी पहले ही यूएई पहुंच चुके हैं, वहीं बीसीसीआई अध्‍यक्ष सौरव गांगुली अभी भारत में ही हैं. अब खबर आ रही हैं कि गांगुली और सचिव जय शाह 8 सितंबर को दुबई पहुंचेंगे और आईपीएल की तैयारियों का जायजा लेंगे. बीसीसीआई कोषाध्‍यक्ष अरुण धूमल भी साथ में ही दुबई पहुंचेंगे. पिछले दिनों गांगुली शूट में व्‍यस्‍त थे. हालांकि चेन्‍नई सुपर किंग्‍स में कोरोना फैलने के बाद उनकी परेशानी बढ़ गई थी.
