2021 T20I World Cup likley to shift from India to UAE due to Covid-19| वनइंडिया हिंदी

Last week, the BCCI General Manager, Game Development, Dhiraj Malhotra had indicated that the T20 World Cup could be held in the United Arab Emirates if the COVID situation does not improve. And on Tuesday, hours after the IPL was postponed, multiple sources in the BCCI confirmed to Sportstar that the Board is keen on taking the T20 World Cup to the UAE, even though an ICC decision is expected in June. “There have been initial discussions as well,” a Board source said, indicating that it is ‘more or less’ decided that the tournament cannot be held in India in the current scenario.

आईपीएल 2021 पर तो फिलहाल ब्रेक लग गया है. अब सितम्बर के महीने में खबरें आ रही है कि आईपीएल का आयोजन हो सकता है. यानी कि जो बचे हुए मुकाबले हैं. वो सितम्बर के महिने में आयोजित किये जा सकते हैं. बीसीसीआई ने आईपीएल पर ब्रेक लगाने के बाद ऐसा कोई बयान नहीं दिया है. जिससे निराशा लोगों को हो. पर जहाँ तक आईपीएल और मौजूदा हालात की बात है. सभी खिलाड़ियों को सलामती से घर पहुंचाने की जिम्मेदारी फ्रेंचाइजियों ने ले रखी है. साथ ही विदेशी खिलाड़ियों के लिए भी बीसीसीआई हर संभव प्रयास कर रहा है. कोरोना के बिगड़ते हालात की वजह से अब टी20 विश्वकप भी खटाई में पड़ सकता है. पर उसके लिए बीसीसीआई के पास प्लान बी क्या है? सवाल यही है.
