Parents in Nigeria shed tears of joy,... as they were reunited with their abducted children on Friday.
This comes six days after some 3-hundred boys were kidnapped by an armed gang from their school in the Katsina state.
They were released by security forces on Thursday,... following a traumatic few days being held in a vast forest.
"There was no food or water, no shelter, no break....we spent the first two days without sleep. Our food was leaves, and after two days, we were given fresh potatoes and pieces of groundnut cake."
The Islamist extremist group Boko Haram claimed responsibility for the incident, which has put the country's widespread lack of security into focus.
The group was also responsible for the mass abduction of hundreds of school girls in 2014.
