Voting was completed on Saturday for the eighth and final phase of the District Development Council (DDC) elections in Jammu and Kashmir amid the freezing cold. In the eighth phase, votes were cast in 28 seats. There was a lot of enthusiasm among the people about the last phase of voting. A long line of voters was seen at the polling booths.

जम्मू-कश्मीर में हाड़ कंपाने वाली ठंड के बीच जिला विकास परिषद यानी डीडीसी के आठवें और अंतिम चरण के चुनाव के लिए शनिवार को मतदान संपन्न हो गया. आठवें चरण में 28 सीटों पर वोट डाले गए. अंतिम चरण के मतदान को लेकर लोगों में काफी उत्साह देखने को मिला. पोलिंग बूथों पर मतदाताओं की लंबी लाइन देखी गई.
