S. Korea, U.S. check stalled defense cost-sharing negotiations

South Korea and the U.S. have restarted their defense cost-sharing negotiations,... which have been stalled for months.
During a virtual meeting Monday, Seoul's chief negotiator Jeong Eun-bo and his American counterpart Donna Welton agreed to closely work together to reach, as early as possible, an agreement that's equitable and mutually acceptable.
Officials from Seoul's foreign and defense ministries also took part as did their American counterparts.
These were the first official talks between Seoul and Washington over cost-sharing since the November 3rd U.S. Presidential election.
