BTS, 또 역사 썼다...한국어 노래로 첫 빌보드 1위

Another milestone reached by K-pop stars BTS.
They've climbed to the top of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 single chart with their latest single 'Life Goes On,' sung primarily in Korean.
This is the first Korean song to make it to the top of the chart.
Kim Yeon-seung reports.
The new BTS single 'Life Goes On' has reached the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
It's only the eighth time in the chart's six-decade history that it's been topped by a song with non-English lyrics, and the first time it has been topped by a song that's sung primarily in Korean.
But despite the language barrier, BTS manage to strike a universal chord.
"The latest album and title track by BTS gained such wide popularity by appealing to all ages and all people around the world,... not just teenagers and people in their early 20s,... by giving strength and consolation to those who are going through a tough time."
The latest BTS album, 'BE', has also reached the top of the Billboard 200 chart.
This is the fifth time that the group have topped Billboard's main album chart.
The success of 'Life Goes On" is the third time in just three months that BTS have grabbed the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100. It follows number one spots for "Savage Love" and "Dynamite".
BTS have also been nominated for a Grammy award in the best pop duo/group performance category... making them the first Korean musicians to be considered for this coveted award.
