France's second national lockdown is likely to be eased next month, with an announcement due on Tuesday.
The U.K. will also as scheduled lift its four-week restrictions on December 2nd.
While Europe seems to be getting the virus under control, COVID-19 continues to spike in the U.S.

France will start easing coronavirus lockdown rules in the coming weeks, carrying out the process in three stages in order to avoid a new flare-up of the pandemic.
According to the government, President Emmanuel Macron will give a speech on Tuesday local time,...possibly announcing a partial relaxation of restrictions which have been in place since late October.
This comes after an improvement in the country's situation.
The number of people in hospital with COVID-19 dropped for the fifth day in a row while new coronavirus infections in France rose by some 17-thousand on Saturday, lower than the over 22-thousand reported the day before.
Restrictions will begin to be relaxed around December first, with further easing coming before the year-end holidays, and lastly from January next year.
The U.K. will also end its secondary lockdown as scheduled.
Local media outlets reported the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will officially announce the end of its restrictions on Monday.
The curb that closed non-essential stores, restaurants and pubs will be eased on December 2nd.
The PM's office said, the lockdown helped control the virus, and plans are in place to return to a three-tiered system of restrictions.
Meanwhile, the U.S. continues to see unprecedented infections, reporting some 195-thousand infections,...breaking its record for the second straight day.
Its total infections stand at 12 million, one fifth of global cases.
CNN said more than 10-thosuand people died last week, which is double the amount compared to last month.
Japan saw over 2-thousand daily cases for five days in a row.
This puts the country over 130-thousand cases in total.
Russia is the fifth country hit hard by the pandemic, which saw over 24-thousand cases on Sunday alone from over 85 regions.
Their number of total cases stands at over 2-million with the death toll at 36-thousand.
