Monster category 4 hurricane 'Iota' is affecting Central America,... sweeping through Honduras on Tuesday.
Strong gusts and torrential rain have pounded the country,.. causing at least two deaths.
And more than 6-hundred shelters have been opened for the tens of thousands of evacuees.
The entire country is on high alert.
"With the flooded areas, this is very sad, it's terrible. There is fear here, there's no way to cross. People are psychologically damaged and we have nowhere to go. That's the truth."
Iota previously slammed Nicaragua as the strongest storm to hit the country,... packing winds of up to 2-hundred-50 kilometers per hour.
The region is still reeling from the impact of Hurricane Eta,.. just two weeks ago.
