Naemet Mokhtar Egyptian bellydancer 1962

A clip from the 1962 film Kollohom Awladi (They're both my sons) The dancer is Naemet Mokhtar. Her dance style had changed somewhat by the early 60's as can be seen in this performance. She plays the role of a dancer at a club and in this scene she is dancing on top of a table where some of her friends are sitting. Then, at a nearby table, the men who are sitting there clear it off and gesture for her to come and dance on top of their table too. She refuses to do so and ignores them. This causes them to become angry and one of the men grabs her by the arm and says..."What? You don't like us?" Her friends then come to her defense and a brawl erupts.
