European Central Bank chief Christine Lagarde says the European economy could face a "bumpy", "stop-start" recovery,... despite the latest news of Pfizer's vaccine development.
Speaking at an online ECB conference Wednesday,... Lagarde spoke of a risk that fearful consumers could drag out an economic rebound,... and called for policymakers in the EU to bridge the gap until a vaccine is readily available.
She added that output in the services sector may struggle to fully recover due to the pandemic.
