Margins narrow between Trump and Biden in remaining swing states while Trump takes legal action

美대선, 승패 결정할 3곳,... 트럼프 무더기 소송전

The winner of the 2020 U.S. Presidential election is still too difficult to call for President Trump and his Democratic rival Joe Biden.
The two candidates are extraordinarily close in several key states that could swing the final result in either direction.
For the latest, we turn to our Lee Kyung-eun.
Kyung-eun, where does the race stand now?
Mok-yeon, both candidates are still short of the 270 electoral votes needed to claim victory.
At this point, we'll have to wait for those key states Arizona, North Carolina and Pennsylvania to finish counting the ballots.
But the states are extremely close, and the margins are shrinking even further.
As of 6:30 AM Korea time,... Biden is ahead of Trump in Arizona by a little over 1 point.
But Trump is leading in North Carolina and Pennsylvania,... also by slightly over 1 point in each state.
In terms of electoral votes, Biden has 2-hundred-53,... leading Trump by 40.
Based on this dynamic, Biden has a better chance of winning the race.
If he holds on in Arizona and wins Nevada - where he has favor at the moment,... he doesn't need to win North Carolina and Pennsylvania to make 2-hundred-70.
Biden continues to remain confident.
But he said, in a speech a short time ago, that the country must stay calm and wait for all the votes to be counted.
What are the chances that Trump can win? Have there been any changes in his strategy?
Mok-yeon, Trump still has a chance of winning.
But he would need at least four states,...and Pennsylvania is a must-win among them.
While Trump remains confident about his re-election, his campaign have started taking legal action.
They sued Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia, and Nevada the key states requesting a stop to counting,... citing fraud.
Judges in Georgia and Michigan have dismissed the lawsuits.
Local media says, however, Biden's campaign knew this was coming,...and they also have hundreds of lawyers at the ready to fight this off.
Back to you, Mok-yeon.
