Americans are heading to the polls as we speak to choose between President Trump and his Democratic rival Joe Biden.
For this election, we are closely looking at 6 key battleground states, which together make up one-hundred-one electoral votes out of the two-hundred-seventy needed to win.
We will bring you live updates on those key states by breaking them down, but first let's check on the three Sunbelt states.
Kyung-eun, what's the latest?
Mok-yeon, we are closely looking at Florida, North Carolina, Arizona.
These are the states that President Trump won back in the 2016 election.
So Trump is trying to recreate the map to win the race,...while Biden is trying to expand by coloring these states in BLUE.
Latest polling shows, Biden is ahead of Trump in two of these states, but the margin is extremely thin.
In Florida, Biden is leading Trump by less than one point.
In Arizona, the margin is the same.
Only in North Carolina, can we see Trump, just barely in front of Biden.
Florida is considered the key, tipping point state for this election, with 29 electoral votes at stake the most among other swing states.
Neither candidate can afford to lose Florida,... especially Trump, given national polls show the two other Sunbelt states which were traditionally Republican strongholds have become toss-up states.
Here, we should be getting early results around 9:30 AM Korea time, as the state has already started processing early votes and mail-in ballots.
And in North Carolina, initial results should come quickly once polls close.
Arizona is set to release results at around 12 PM Korea time.
Back to you.
