Coronavirus Cases At 1,79,000 Globally Says WHO, Death Toll Crosses 7,000

Confirmed cases of Coronavirus infections had gone up to 1,79,000 globally and the death toll had climbed upto 7,000. The U.S. has reported a coronavirus case in each of its 50 states. Numbers of those recovering has also gone up to 82,000 but the high mortality rate and the spread of the infection has meant that countries – from the U.S. to EU to India have imposed harsh travel restrictions.
