Coronavirus Cases Cross 2 Million Globally, U.S. Hardest Hit With Six Lakh Cases And 30,000 Dead

The Coronavirus pandemic continues to ravage the world with 1.28 lakh deaths reported world-wide. The total number of cases reported globally crossed two million or twenty lakh on April 15. The United States is the worst-hit country with over six lakh cases and close to 30,000 dead in the three months since it reported its first case of COVID-19. European countries meanwhile form the bulk of the fatalities reported with upto 70% deaths being registered in the continent.
