South Korea is offering roughly 10-million U.S. dollars to the WHO program designed to help developing countries secure Covid-19 vaccines once they've been developed.
Seoul's foreign ministry said Wednesday that the country will be a contributor to the COVAX Advance Market Commitment,... a global initiative that aims to ensure equitable distribution of coronavirus vaccines.
For lower-income countries, the program aims to secure one billion doses by the end of next year.
Some 92 developing countries are expected to benefit from the program, including North Korea.
